Cardigan

Jetzt klappt´s!
During my last visit to the Black Forest I bought some pale blue Lana Grossa wool.
It is 85% recycled cotton and 15% cashmere and looks a bit like linen.  It's very easy to knit, but after having done quite a bit I discovered that it's way too big.  Despite knitting a swatch, so I undid it all and started from scratch.  Now it's ok!

  1. Oooh, die wird superschön, die Jacke! Und Du strickst ja total gleichmäßig! *Staun*

    Sandra :o)

  2. Gorgeous yarn, ecological, and Italian (just by name or also made here?): can't get much better, can it?:) I understand the pain and frustration of unravelling, but sometimes it just has to be done - and you'll be so much happier with your finished sweater!

  3. Your cardigan looks lovely so far. I love working with cotton blends, they have a lovely feel to them and they frog so much easier if need be!

  4. That is a gorgeous color, I love it. Oh to have to unravel something is heartbreaking however to not wear it because it was too big would be worse.

  7. What a wonderful yarn to be working with! Isn't that just how it goes when you are knitting clothes-sometimes the garment fits and other times you have to start over. I bet you will enjoy wearing it once you are done.
