Zeit wird's!/About time!

Schon seit dem Sommer ist diese Jacke auf den Nadeln und rückwärts stricken mußte ich zwischendurch auch mal.

Since the Summer this jacket is sitting on the needles and in the meantime I had to frog a bit as well.

Ursprünglich wollte ich die Blende umhäkeln und da dann auch die Knopflöcher mit einarbeiten, aber ich fand es ohne schöner.  Nur was macht man zum Zumachen?

Originally I planned to crochet around the edges and put button holes in, but I liked it better without the crochet.  But then how does one do it up?

Dann habe ich im Internet mal geschnuppert und fand die Knopf Truhe.  Da hat es sehr schöne Sachen.

Then I sniffed around the Internet and found Knopf Truhe.  They have some lovely things.

 

Und jetzt ist das gute Stück endlich fertig, gerade rechtzeitig für das kühlere Wetter!

And now finally it is finished, just in time for the cooler weather!

Stoffe/Fabrics

Neue Stoffe, aber weiss noch gar nicht so recht was ich damit machen werde.  Inspiration wird schon kommen, wenn ich mich wieder erholt habe von diesem ganz ekelhaften Virus der bei uns die Runden macht.

Von diesem braunen Cord mit Stickerei möchte ich eine Jacke nähen, aber finde kein Muster, daß mir gefällt. Ich will weder Reißverschluß noch Stehkragen, einfach ein chices, flottes, kurzes Jäckchen!

New fabrics, but I have no idea what I'm going to make with them yet.  I will get some inspiration once I've recovered from this dreadful bug which is making the rounds here.

The brown cord with embroidery is for a jacket, but I can't find a pattern I like.  I don't want a zip, or mandarin collar, just a chic short jacket!
